Mr Zouioueche has a total of 36 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He was President of SONATRACH from 1995 to 1998.
He was a major drafter of the Algerian Law on Hydrocarbons while he was the Executive Vice President of the SONATRACH Hydrocarbons Division (1979-1985).

Tarek Mekada
President & Managing Director

Mr Mekada has over 33 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He has held senior technical management positions in Algeria and Tunisia. Mr Mekada was President and General Manager of SOMATGAS from 1988 to 1992. He was also General Manager of MARETAP from 1992 to 1995, a joint operating company between MARATHON and ETAP of Tunisia. Mr Mekada has been the President of MEDEX PETROLEUM LIMITED from its creation.

Ahmed Bouchamaoui
Managing Director

Mr Bouchamaoui was President of a Tunisian family holding company AL MAJD HOLDING SA, and is President of MOSAIC PETROLEUM LTD, the majority shareholder of MEDEX PETROLEUM LTD.
Mr Bouchamaoui has many years of experience in diverse sectors such as agriculture, real estate, construction, health and education with the creation of an American university in Tunisia.
